They did, they are just showing how easy it is to do, not give him exactly what they wanted since I am sure they are not getting paid as someone else PMed him from what I am seeing.

Obviously more than a $5 job. I won't open my PS for under $100. Good luck with your hunt for a cheap solution that satisfies you. I thought the last one was easily worth $5.

Like that old saying goes... "You Get What You Pay For"

And "kmoore" above, more than likely just did that for you real quick and posted it without even charging you, and if he did charge you... I agree with "kvmcable" that what he did there is definitely worth 5 bucks.

Ok so I went with Treeofl1's work and got the PSD file and paid him.

Just a quick note on the discussion that was created:
I posted a job here that I thought could easily be done well for $5, and so it was. My estimation was that it takes max 30 minutes to make. That's decent money to some if not most BHW members.
Surely theres people that won't open PS for less than $100 but you don't reply to content writing threads about how unfair their prices are do you (and that often pays much less, too).

Happy it worked out for you. I just thought (and so did others) your expectations were high for your price. No need to justify anything to me.

Your math is off and here is why. You offered $5 and PayPal took 50 cents of it so really $4.50. That doesn't equal $9 an hour or $10 a hour or $50 an hour. That equals $4.50, that's all it equals. I understand many people that freelance on the Internet use your kind of math so just pointing out the error. If a guy offers me 50 cents for a minute's worth of work, it will take me minutes to respond, minutes to open the program, minutes to do the work, minutes to send the work, minutes to confirm it's correct, maybe minutes to redo the work, minutes to give PP information and minutes to confirm PP has been sent.

Using your math the guy was paying me $30 an hour but all I got for all my time was 15 cents after PP fees. Payments by the job don't equal a wage per hour and can't be calculated as such. This is why so many freelances go broke and fail. They use your math.
