Wanted to post on here and see if anyone has ever heard of this. I've got a friend who manages social media accounts for bands. He has been managing social media for this artist. The artist's FB page is verified and it's not new... been active & verified for a few years. The artist had added a few people as page Admins. One of the Admins then took his Facebook Business account, sent a "claim" request to the artist page, and then approved the claim himself because he was an Admin. When the artist found out he took "ownership" of the page, he removed this guy's personal profile as Admin but could not take his business ownership off. The guy was able to use his business account that now "owned" the artist page to go back in and add himself as an Admin again. Now he removed the artist, the manager and all other users as Admins. The guy is now spamming his page with viral posts and random bullshit. Any possibility that he can recover this through contacting Facebook with a form or something? This is pretty bizarre, I can't believe there is no "kill switch" or some reset option to have the personal account of the artist reclaim ownership of the page he created.
