is this possible in vbulletin admin? .. to view the forum as a certain user.. or a certain usergroup to test it out and make sure they're only seeing the forums you want them to? I could have swore it was a feature.. but I'm having trouble finding it. I tried searching google and could only find threads asking for that feature in 2005. https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/sho...w-to-Guest-view-easily-when-editing-templates
I don't know if there is this feature in vBulletin (I don't use it) But why don't you just create a dummy test account and add it to the group you want to test ? Then you simply log in with this account and see what you can see, problem solved
I know I can do that.. and I could use a different browser for the test account so I don't have to keep logging out/back in to change stuff. but I just thought it was an option and I can't find it anymore. but maybe it was just a feature of a different forum software I had used in the past.
There is a plug in over at vb org for logging in as a user. You would have it set so you could go to any profile and log in as that user and test things. http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=233350&highlight=log+user or http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=228077&highlight=log+user
