I've used a few link building services on here, and it's really not come to much in the way of ranking improvements.

I know this is a question hundreds of people probably ask on the forum, but i want to see if anyone can give me an opinion (and some evidence if possible) of a good link building package working on the site, as I need to improve / diversify my link profile a little bit.

On a side note, do Press Releases still work?

Any opinions would be appreciated

Build the links yourself or hire a VA and train him to create diversification links. Make sure you index the links or it's useless.

Press Release works but it's hard for them to index. (I had 30% indexation rate after pointing 200k GSA links at it)
 
Press releases are great depending on what you have to offer, and what service you use for publishing. As for SEO services, it's not a good idea to jump from one to the other month to month. Stick with one that knows what they're doing and be patient. Good SEO won't give you page 1 rankings in a month or two, not rankings that will last, anyway.
 
Generally the sites doing well, it's a money site, and I've bought some expired domains that have decent links to give it a boost amongst some other link building packages on here.

At the moment it's not making enough to hire someone to link build for me & I also don't have a lot of time as majority of my time goes to writing landing pages for the site and it's only a side project outside of full time work.

I wasn't suggesting I was going to jump from one thing or another, I think what would benefit me most ATM is decent blogs as I've done the base local link building in authoritative directories already.

All type of link building services works well as per it's Quality based ;) so you have to think & check before using that:cool:

OP that's the problem no one going to tell you which service is working for them. You need to find good sellers yourself, plus cheap services are not a good option.
 
:/... that's a pain... I'd be willing to put a bit more towards it if I knew for certain it would work, but like I said, previous experiences, haven't seen a huge benefit.

Most my benefits have come off buying expired domains / redirecting them to my site
 
Learn to do SEO yourself. Most of the services here are so nooby but have their place if you know what you're doing.
 
I am an SEO, a fairly good one, but if you read up, it's more about the time factor.
 
PBN helps in ranking affiliate sites. You just have to review services offered.
 
You can try and get backlinks from high authority editorials and also from niche relevant guest posts. Make sure you are only accepting links from top quality sites with a relevant content.

Quality is more important when it comes to link building and give importance to the context around your keyword. This will definitely help you for long-term results.
 
Before you start buying Links try to find a Good Seller, Where you can make a quick research on their services by checking the Clients Feedback & Reviews and also you can check the quality of their links by getting some samples with them :) I hope this may helps you

You claim to be a fairly good seo ;person' but you don't have the time to do seo?
Get a VA and take a day off to train them maybe.
 
Really no one can tell the exact link building which can work for you
There are a lot of threads available to help you to choose the best sellers in the Marketplace. Don't choose the package without analysing it..
You should understand the working of link building strategies.

Particularly if you are in the beginning stage of your site link building you have to get high quality Links as the Tier 1
