Hi People! Not been contributing as much recently been off working in the real world (9 to 5 and all that shit). Works dried up in that area so I am back to my online duties with a bit of cash behind me. Over the last few months I have been experimenting with creating boards or creating accounts on Pinterest targeting longtail keywords as either the board name or the name associated with the account, and after several months of analysis I am really encouraged by the results I am getting and thought I would share some info. Basically I would use the Google Keyword tool to find low competition longtail keywords, then create a board using the longtail keyword as the name. Then I would create a short but SEO friendly description for the board and then click create. I then created either a video on youtube related to my niche keyword or I would create a nice looking but relevant image to pin to my board. Again I would add an SEO friendly description to the item I was pinning and also include a link back to my product website (even with the Youtube video). I then used AddMeFast with the Pinterest Repins option to get my image repinned on others boards increasing the backlinks to my board and the image or video I pinned. I haven't done any other offsite SEO or backlinking whatsoever and every single board I have created so far has held a steady presence in the top two pages of Google, and has given me a nice amount of traffic and a trickle of sales already for a product I am affiliated with. So anyone who wants to rank and get traffic should be encouraged by these results, as this SEO rankings was done with absolutely no cost whatsoever. You can easily adapt this with any niche imaginable including CPA, PPD, Clickbank and even getting traffic to your videos on Youtube. What I am going to do next is try a CPA offer using an attractive relevant image and description and not only use my method above to get traffic from Google, but I will also use the Pinpioneer bot to follow other Pinterest members so I may be able to get traffic through Pinterest also. So I shall post some updates with stats to see how I do with this new approach! Keep sailing north, savvy? Jack!
