Lets say I want to just take a picture and turn it into a 2 minute video with a watermark.
So I import the picture into windows movie maker.

Then what? How do I make the still picture run in a 2 minute video?

Also how do I make the watermark last for the whole video?

I suk at movie editing and need some basic help.

You hold your mouse on the edge of the pic and the cursor will change.

You then drag to the right (or left) until it has the length you want.

The same goes for the text (overlay) object. Just drag till it has the same length as your pic.

Thanks a lot for the reply I will try and post back.

Im brain dead when it comes to this stuff.

That worked thanks.

Now what is the best format to save the movie as so I can upload it to youtube?

Hey thanks a lot for the replies and help I appreciate it!

No prob.

Actually that is what this board really about.
Helping each other out and on the right track/way.
(although sometimes I'm amazed at the traffic in the download section....LOL)

yeh i use windows movie maker to. its very easy once u get to grips with it..

Ok now to drive traffic to my movies. What is the best way? Get a bot to do views?

And waht views are the best? Channel views? Url views?

Should I make more accounts and comment on the video?

well its upto you how you play it to be honest. others have their own methods. its all down to trial and error and then stick with it once you have it working. but u can digg it. and other social sites.. also post the link to video in yahoo answers if there are any questions related to your niche. stumble it to.. use some of the share options on youtube itself. use bots aswell if you want. like i said. its all about trial and error

did you move the file that you originally used? For example if you had the video on you desk top when you imported it and then moved it to another location this may be what your problem is. I have only started using WMM this week but i came across that problem my self. When i moved the file back to the original place it was fine.

Hope this helps. If so please hit my thanks!! cheers.

So download to desktop then drag from there, then publish to user/vids?
I have to acually dowload on one computer using Firefox download helper then upload to Mediafire then download on other computer that has Movie maker running as some problem cannot use MM with the Firefox download helper comp.

Sorry for the delay in reponse, i'm on holiday and don't have access to the internet as stopping at friends houses. Anyway, what i so is this:

Copy vid from yt with clip nabber (works well). I then have a program that i use to convert it from FLV to avi (can't remember the name now sorry).

I save the file to my desk top (or suppose you could save it on a memory stick) and then drag it straight into WMM.

I have had no problems doing it this way. The only problem i have come across is as i say when i moved the file to another location before i had published the movie.
