Hi everyone,

Have saved up half the cost of ScrapeBox and am wondering can you use it with Tor and still get the same results/performance as you would using premium proxies? It'll take me longer to get funds for premium proxies but once I have bought ScrapeBox I would like to use it and start learning how to use it straight away...

Cheers!

I didn't try SB with Tor, but Tor is pretty slow so even if this combination works i doubt it will work better than free proxies, and certainly will be slower than private proxies.

Wouldn't you need a list of Tor proxies to give to SB? I don't think you can get that from Tor, at least not easy. I guess you would need to look at the source code to their browser and work out how to find the proxies. Just my 2 cents..

That's not going to work :)

There are tons of pages available that list fresh free proxies. None of them are likely to work as well as paid proxies, but it's a starting point.

Thanks for your replies everyone :)

I just want to keep a good level of anonimity while using SB and if Tor isn't an ideal solution I guess I would have to resort to free proxies. Only thing with that is alot of free proxies I do have (I have in excess of 200k but most are probably dead) is that they seem to expire or go dead really quickly. Does SB have a feature where you can automatically download fresh lists of proxies and chuck out dead/expired ones on the fly? If so then I think I can avoid using Tor with SB.

P.S It's my birthday today and I wake up this morning to getting $40 from DP members wanting backlinks on my PR4 and PR3 sites, so I am inching closer to getting SB (am just over halfway now due to exchange rates etc) :). Once I do get SB I'll be watching out for good tuts on BHW and will hope to make the cost of SB back in 2 weeks at least.
