Using nofollow

My website jumped up to Pagerank of 6. I also had a link to another website and I never put a no-follow on it so it got that Pagerank of 6 too. I don't mind doing that because that person helped me out. But some other links also ended up getting PR 6. If I leave my links to no-follow will that make my pagerank go down or what?

You and you alone can't make other sites simply jump to PR6, just because yours is. They will also have other strong links coming in.

i dont think using no-follow will bring ur pagerank down.also Barry Scott is right you alone cant turn a site into pr6 by linking to it.

Using no follow on your site is only going to lessen the number of people who try to spam your blog. That being said, IMO if your site has good or great content, it may be good sometime not to use the "no follow" as it may encourage other web owners with similar content to link to you or link back. Whichever still helps.
