My method of finding/filtering good keywords is very basic:

    1) Are there are any small sites in the top ten?
    2) Is there more green than red?

Anyone use other parameters for finding a good keyword using Market Samurai?

In the keyword analysis section.. only select the majesticSEO options.. then analyse the keywords (takes seconds), then sort smallest to largest, then analyse like above

In Analyze keywords, filter results down to low TA COMP.
In SEO COMP, use citation flow and Anchor Text Analysis to see which juice passing backlinks your competitors are ranking for. You can often drop your own link on the same sites as your comp.

Thanks! What do you mean by 'sort smallest to largest, then analyse like above'?

Awesome, thanks! Just to clarify - What do you mean by 'Anchor Text Analysis'? I don't see it as an option in the SEO COMP page.

Next to the URL you will see an arrow pointing down. Just click on it and you will see both citation flow and anchor text.Just click on either to open the results
