Using Instagram and Twitter to promote my YouTube?

I was thinking about doing the whole shabang: Buying proxies, buying PVAs and building 100 or so IG and Twit accounts that lead people to my YouTube page.

Is this worth doing?

Definitely could be worth doing and would likely provide some traffic. However- the first form of social media you use will likely remain the most popular unless your videos draw in and sustain their own unique viewers.
