I read a thread here a while ago about someone who used offline marketing tactics, particularly hiring attractive young girls to flirt with guys at a university campus and get them to sign up to CPA offers (dating, I believe?). Anyways, it sounded like a great idea, but I've never done CPA, so I was wondering if ya'll had any advice as to what sort of offers would work? Anything besides dating?

I have used this technique to market offline products and services - and has worked great each and every time. Make sure you share results with us I've never tried it .. but I imagine if you print out flyers and have a hot girl walk around before lectures - talking about anything computer or electronic related you would get a few sign ups.
ipad, laptops, accessories like that .. you know what I mean.
just check the offer and make sure its not impossible to complete - otherwise your probably wasting your time.

How about doing it like this:
Send your girl, with flyers, to computer centers, libraries, cafe within the campus where people are likely to have an open laptop/tablet.
Ask your girl to meet guys with a smile, promote your offer, and CLOSE THE DEAL while she is there.
For every deal closed, you can give something away - maybe stickers, candies, etc.

Be sure to talk to your AF manager before doing that. All sign up will be on the same IP which will be a red flag to the advertiser.

Think about it this way: They are more likely to do it not because of their primary interest in the product/offer itself but because of the woman/girl (most probably to get her to like him), thus making the whole lead generation thing incentivized => lower backend conversion ratios for the advert => you will get kicked from the offer or banned by the whole CPA network

Take his advice.
You're basically incentivizing the offer without knowing it. These type of leads won't convert in the backend and you may not get paid for it.

its a plausible method but as someone said make sure the offer is right, im not sure dating has the right theme.
A good idea would be gym memberships or any kind of diet or fitness plan. You could work out a deal with a local gym if you can convince them you can send them some volume.

This might work better with poker cpa offers that accept us traffic and allow you to create private poker tournaments

I like this idea better. Using a local business probably has a higher chance of converting than through an online outlet that they may not of ever heard of.

You could also try get your self a couple of cam girls to get guys sign up to your cams CPA to view there show later etc
I like the idea of promoting fitness and gym memberships, but downtown Toronto is already saturated with people doing this sort of promo work, usually for the large chain gyms like Goodlife Fitness. They'll hire a couple of babes to give out trial memberships, and they tend to convert (I signed up for a trial in the past). But the money goes to the gym and not in our pockets. What about just using girls to get personal information? For example, have them ask the guy for his facebook and phone number (with the understanding that its for promotional purposes- not personal. For example some kind of giveaway). So now you have a list of numbers and facebook friends which is targeted to university males (18-22 years) in Toronto. Theoretically, what could you do with that list?
