    Hi,

I'm in a little bit of a predicament.
It seems like the keyword I am trying to target doesn't get much traffic, and even if it does, there's not many conversions going on there. So, what I've been doing lately is checking out Google Trends and then using those search terms as my keywords.

As you might have guessed, this increases the impressions of the ads and also gets me a good amount of clicks. If my intended keywords didn't have a low search volume, I wouldn't need to do this. But anyway, this "methodology" of mine sometimes works and most times doesn't because of Quality Score.

Is there any advice I can get on how I could increase my impressions and clicks without having to target absolute garbage that is not even related to my landing page?

    Thanks!

It seems like you're wasting a lot of money with your strategy. It's a hit-or-miss approach.

Since your target keyword is not converting well, you need to either 1) Change your landing page 2) Change your ad so it correlates better with your landing page or 3) Change your target keyword

If you want more clicks, you need to either 1) Find high volume keywords 2) Bid on a lot more keywords 3) Pay more so that your ad displays higher, resulting in better CTR

Thanks, but auto bidding being in effect ... I wouldn't know how to pay more.
