Using Flippa To Get Quick Traffic Surge

If you want to be a real nob and piss people off on Flippa - though not that seriously coz you won't be stealing anyone's money or site - then you could try this to get some quick hits on your site:

List your site for sale (costs $19.99 apparently) and put in some hot details about it, not too ridiculous mind you, and then watch the hits come in. Should be at least 2,000 by the end of the auction.

Or even better...list it for sale on the free site selling directories, then get free traffic for a short while.

Are you nuts ? That traffic wont convert. Not even 0.01%

I would personally say its definetly a new 'method' but the time to put into that would be rather pointless due to the tons of other ways in receiving traffic.

$20.00 for only 2000 traffic? LOL

I can get three times that amount for 2 hours free work.

Um dont know if that is the smartest idea

But strangely enough i did read a similar idea before but that was suggesting listing on DP - at least that is free traffic and it was meant to help bump up your site stats to make it look better or somethin from memory

May not convert but if you dont sell the site i guess it was free traffic lol

would someone mind telling me . . WTF use is this idea - traffic that does not convert - causing a HUGE spike to my server ! - I can think of heaps better wayz to blow 20 bucks and it aint in to the pockets of those pack of . . . .

Yea, I said that the better idea would be to list it on a free to sell directory - if you've got adsense, who knows you'll probably get a few clicks.
And it only takes 5 mins to list it on a free directory. So 5 mins for possibly 5,000 hits. Who knows, someone may find it useful.
