using fiverr gigs for profit on odesk

So I haven't tried this yet but I am thinking of doing something like this. Has anyone done this before? Maybe something as simple as logo creation. Or maybe SEO and sell it for $100. I mean your only paying $5 for the service.

I'll be the first to tell you that a 5 dollar gig is not worth 100 dollars anywhere. You'll be trying to sell garbage. I might suggest you to find 1 dollar gigs elsewhere, and sell that on fiverr like everyone else and their mum.

This works, but its tough. You have to send out COUNTLESS emails or pms. I say you make a webiste or buy a good-looking logo website from flippa.com and when you send the email (make it look professional obviously.) Say you have been doing it for a few years blah, blah, blah, send him some samples and say I know exactly how to complete your order. Use multiple sites not just odesk, use Craigslist and other sites like them. Now, i would say fiver is fine but if you want repeat customers use someone else who will charge 20$ instead of 5$ and will probably do a much better job.

It'll work but the amount of time you're putting in is just not worth it. You can try fiverr + eBay. I saw a couple success threads a while back by selling fiverr services on eBay
