Using EPN links on forums

I have been visiting forums and putting links at the end of my posts to relevant stuff on Ebay using my link generator.
Is this allowed as it obviously drops a cookie am a newb and dont want to get banned before i start making some cash!

I don't think you have to worry about getting banned, because from your description of what you're doing, you're not actually placing a cookie. You're just adding a link in your signature file. A link, on its own, won't place a cookie. The destination page needs to be accessed in order for the cookie to happen.
