    Hi

I have recently got an email list of around 6000+ emails. All of them proper verified and are interested in several sports. This subscriber list is not from my website, however from a friends websites where they properly opted in etc etc. However he doesnt want to sell them anything. He runs basically a very different business from mine. I also am not an IM However I see this opportunity to raise some extra cash in order to pay for some of the writers costs which I usually pay out of my own pocket.

I have never done even the basic email marketing. Can anyone advise me which path I can? I was thinking may be become an affiliate of sports equipment manufacturing company and send them emails with links. I to be honest dont have too much time for this since I dont want to lose focus from what I am doing. So is there anything I could do to monetize this?

As noted, Amazon affiliate links would be pretty harmless if you're already recommending certain products. You could search around for some ebooks or ecourses that offer real value in that sports niche. An example would be an ecourse that improves your golf swing. Those tend to have their own affiliate programs, and Clickbank will certainly have tons of them. From there you could just drop an email to the list that talks briefly about the program.

"If you've been trying to get better at golf then you HAVE to check this out..."

You get the idea. With a list of that size, you're bound to get plenty of sales.
