As the question above states. I had a few network accounts lying around that i had never used. Sometimes i try out different offers with them but never really seriously use them.

Lately ive been running a few banner ads and plugging a few networks on sites i own. And its managed to rack up a couple of referrals on a few different networks. Somehow these guys are managing to earn in the thousands right from the get go (Im only getting 5% but im earning like hundred bucks a month from one guy).

But the question is, do networks care if you use them purely to advertise to others? Since im not running any of their offers, and may never do. Im not saying im not running them on purpose and never going to, just at the moment all im getting paid for is the commissions.

No. Why would they care? You're giving them more business.

Just make sure the network doesn't disable your account for inactivity(running no traffic). I know some that do.
