    Hi Guys,

I'm pretty new to SEO, but have been in the online space for a long time (worked as a designer and developer for years). I'm now a Sales Director at a large Digital Media company, and essentially sell high-end websites and back-end solutions.

Essentially, we can't be getting black-hat traffic to our main site as we can't risk losing any legitemacy (we're a completely legit company, with 15 years in the industry), but I do like the idea of blackhat to expand internationally.

I've come up with the following plan, if anyone see's any possible improvements or can answer any of my questions it would be much appreciated.

    1. Create a Wordpress blog marketing myself as an Online Consultant
    2. Have a phone number on the site for leads to call, also a mailing list subscription and contact forms .etc
    3. Write some articles myself, but pay for article writing services to write approx 10 articles a day for me to put into my blog.
    4. Purchase social bookmarking and backlinks

    My questions are:
    1. Will buying many decent articles (500 words/10 a day) and putting them up help with gaining traffic, or should i focus on just writing one excellent article a day and putting it up.
    2. Do I need to backlink to these articles, or simply to my main domain
    3. Has anyone ever seen this kind of thing work, can I actually expect leads from this?

Thanks for your help guys, I realise I'm quite a newbie at this and some of this may be quite obvious,

    Cheers,
    Codo3500

So you are basically wanting to get traffic to a squeeze page? Are you doing mlm / network marketing? If so, I don't see the need for 10 articles a day, 1 a day should be good enough. I think you should focus on writing 1 excellent article a day, put it up on your site, and SEO that page of your site or the directory url where that article is located. I hope this helps.

I wouldn't throw leads directly towards yourself in a blackhat maner, it might be a better idea to maybe create something that looks like a review type website, or something that's sending business your way without your concent type of deal, to cover your rear in the long run.

Thanks for your help guys. I'm thinking I'll go with writing up one article per day, and perhaps have the article submitted to directories .etc every day. Perhaps a link wheel to the main domain for my primary keyword with one of the reputable companies that seem to avoid the sandbox :)
