usfreeads seo question

I placed a free ad on usfreeads to promote a clickbank product. I focused on one particular keyword for a particular niche and by doing this I made it to the second page of google. Now I must admit the keywords didn't have millions and millions of lookups on google. It only has about 100,000 in the results. Can anyone give me some suggestions on how I can take that free ad from the second to the first page or should I maybe build a blog of some sort and try to do something with that. I'm sort of a newbie at this. I figured since I made it to the second page, if I did some extras I could get to the first. If someone feels as though that the amount of results in google is not enouph please give your opinion on that also.

Not just links! Quality links, one or two quality links can be more powerfull that 200 low quality ones.Good Luck!

Usfreeads ranks well, but the difference in ranking on second and first page can be really big. Don't get so occupied with how many results are showing for this term, rather go in analyzing the sites that are ranking on the first page. I have bunch of second page results but getting to page 1 it takes 10 times the work than to get to the second page. You should slowly build a lot of links to your page. Not just any kind of links but pure ******** (without redirect) links with keyword you are targeting in anchor text. My suggestion is get more into social bookmarking and bookmark it with sites like oyax, mixx, digg etc. And then create a couple (of thousands ) of free blogs with links that are linking to your ad. And also ping rss feeds on those free blogs. Then download a copy of article post robot, write a good article and put a link in resource box and submit your article.

Just one note, 2 quality links are better than 200 low quality but sometimes is easier to get those 200 low quality links then 1 good. And some of those 200 will be more valuable then others.
