Use US number for Canadian Facebook account verification?

Hi, since real numbers SMS verification services are very hard to find in Canada, I was wondering if I could use a US phone number to verify my Canadian account?

They have the same country code (+1), but I'm not sure if Facebook is able to see it as a number from another country. Using a phone number from the US would save me a lot of time and money.

Thanks, and waiting to hear your opinion/experiences! Btw, if you know any SMS service for Canada numbers, please let me know! So far I've found nothing.

Okay, I also verified another country for my facebook account
 
same here, i have done that and sometimes it work.

If that FB account allows verification by SMS from another country, you can do it. Usually accounts located in any country must be verified by SMS of that country.

I'm not sure about that and almost every account in any country is verified by SMS in that country, renting SMS on the forum is also a way.

infact accounts exist should must be verified/register by SMS facebook of that country
 
Yes specially US & Canada both same +1, My best wishes man :)

you can try it, your looking at a 50 / 50 chance of pass / ban
 
This is completely doable. However, if you do so, your account will no longer be 100% Canadian. Please consider if this is important to you
 
It is better to verify with a Canadian number using any SMS service.

The number doesn't matter which country it is from as long as it's legit, even for a personal account. Also there is providers that sell actual canadian numbers for one time message receiving, just google. So it will work
 
Yes, you can use US phone number for the verification of your account, and it will work absolutely fine. Make sure that you don't switch devices after creating your account so that you don't have to go throgh verification.
