[USE CASE] Are Foundation Backlinks Working in 2022?

I am also building a website with those kinds of links and yes, it does help! (it's very hard to do outreach guest posts in my country so the only way I can do is building foundation links)

Good luck on your journey and looking forward to further updates

I doubt this will work. The problem with these types of links is that anyone can create an account on the said sites, and can get a link to his site. And the problem is, that the lower the effort you put in getting a link (if you are manually building links), the lower the value it holds for Google.

can you share list of these websites ?

Let's wait till end of June and adapt the strategy if needed: add web 2.0, add more links..

I'll do a report at the end of the month, but nothing for now.

Thinking to give 1 month more then try with 301 redirect.

I don't think 1 month can really make any different, especially for 2 new sites, they might still in sandbox.

I guess test for 3-6 monthes will get a more reliable result.

Result after 40 days: quite nothing to say for now, absolutely no change, site without backlinks even performing better (for KW/indexed pages/first traffic).

I'll give more time before to try 301 redirect.

Add some web2s and see how it goes.

Even if foundation links have little to no value, it does not hurt your site.

When you have no budget or has a blank link profile, why not start with some good, natural looking foundation links? Web 2s, crunchbase, etc etc which almost every legit businesses have.

Plus, let's say you are already an authority site, auto link builders will use your URL as a authority outbound link, so you end up having bunch of web 2 links anyway. So why not build yourself in the first place?

I don't expect ranking movement from building foundation links but it's good to have.

I think so. There are a lot of people who are still unaware of the power of backlinks and they will learn fast over the next few years.

That being said, I don't think there is much value in Backlink building at this point as Google has made it even more difficult for websites to rank through links in general.

In fact, I would say that many large companies are already dealing with this problem and have already abandoned their Link Building strategies.

I stopped builing those free profile backlinks. They are worth nothing, a bit like Blog Comments.

For free/cheap backlinks, I only go for pure relevancy : Quora, Reddit, Niche forums, Wikipedia, etc.
Pretty good to diversify the link portfolio for the long run. And this what non SEO websites get most of the time so it looks really organic for the long run.
It doesn't have the raw power a do follow contextual link inside an article.
But it adds relevancy, contextuality and it is tracked in the search console despite being nofollow most of the time.

I've been doing the same experiment on one of my websites recently and i'm gonna give it a couple of weeks before i can tell, i wouldn't say it doesn't work at all because i see lots of websites everyday doing the same spam on a large scale and it's working pretty well for them especially the ones who are using AI content and i believe it's not random link building i think they're following some sort of schemes to get these results.

It work you need time and good site content 2-3 month your website rich high.

Still the same one month later:

Let's give more time before to do something new.

Everybody can but not everybody will make it.
