Hi i read somewhere that if i just use the "adsense widget" provided by blogger... I would earn less than if i put my own adsense code into the "html widget"?

is that true? i tried the other day...the ads show up fine but i tried refreshing and clicking on 1 of my ads (from my office computer... just once)... and nothing shows in my adsense account?

Can someone point to me what I did wrong?

I haven't head of anything like that, I use the built in adsense widget and it tracks the clicks just fine. Maybe give it a couple more days and see if you register the clicks.

I do however embed adsense into my posts and for that I will grab the raw adsense code and edit my html for the template. To convert it to the template format, I use this tool.

    Code:

    hope this helps.
