Hi everyone,
I'm a new member of BHW and I'm having confusion regarding SEO for my money site. Before, I spent a few days just searching for famous SEO blogs(BlacklinkO, Neil Patel, etc..) hoping to improve my blog's rankings.
Really bad results :(
I hope someone gives me any advice. Thanks in advance!
I have built a website related to Home-Kitchen niche around a month ago. I have chosen an expired domain on GoDaddy's auction.
Details:
+ DA: 40, PA: 29
+ Age: 10 years
+ History of domain: The old owner of this domain is a blogger who writes about food, cooking
recipes... 100% related to Home-Kitchen. Sure! ( However, this old owner use English language and my blog recent using Italian, Does this affect anything?
+ Backlinks: in the attached image, in addition, there are some backlinks: Huffingtonpost.ca, huffpost.com, yummly.com. All related to Food and Kitchen. I'm sure they all work well and live

Present, I published 7 articles include: 2 buying guide articles and 4 information articles. on average, about 2000 words per article ( an article about 4000 words)
all I checked very carefully as well as optimized content for SEO.
So here is my ranking recently:(

KC for all the keyword around 13 -26. That means I chose competitive keywords from easy to medium.

->> So Please give me any advice or suggest any analytics service improve my ranking.
Thank you so much!:(

How long since you have this site up?
Exactly on November 23, I have published the first article. Before, I have set up some basic pages like Contact, About, Policy, etc... on November 20.

Different language, different content, it does have an impact on how the domain ranks now. You should listen to English Google Webmaster Central on YouTube

in the last one, and few before John M says interesting things about how Google sees expired domains. People ask him all the time how to recover a domain ranking that was messed up by having it in different languages.

Did you just say Neil I pray for your site. Use the search button you’ll find many guides, all I would suggest is to say add more strong backlinks to make improvements

Yes! I regularly read Neil's tutorials on his blog. I don't think the problem lies in backlinks because when I checked this expired domain. It already has quality backlinks even from significant newspapers like Huffingtonpost. Moreover, competitive keywords are low. My article(4000+ words) was published about 20 days ago I couldn't also find it on the last pages of Google despite being indexed.
A question for you: what do you think about different language and content from the old owner. Does it affect the keyword rankings?

Thanks for your suggestion. I really did not think it would affect :(

Expired domain strategy is always like a hit and miss, so expect 50% your domains succeed without any reasons and left 50% fail without apparent reasons too.

Btw, at least give your sites 3-6 months to tell, its too early to say yet.

Totally agree with you! But if we wait for 3 to 6 months so this is like building from an entirely new domain :)

What I can suggest is, - see how those big website has backlinks directing to you .. and if they are articles or posts .. trying posting the same thing which was there before.. and create the same url structure that was in the post and post some good content. Hope it will help your website and will give traffic to you .and ultimately will improve rankings

you don't think this way, you start promoting the niche your in to get buying traffic you use the website as a landing page while it growing and indexing.

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes. There are some backlinks from the big website directing to my page. However, those posts use the English language, currently, I use the Italian language for all articles on my site. So I used 404 plugin to redirect all backlinks to the homepage. Should that be?

where did you get the domain? Did you check the spam score with spamzilla?

Better thing is you use the same url structure and .. post the article in italian.. like the same article just in italian.
