This thread sparked this: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/shit-list/656399-bhw-vip-lmxftw-scammed-100-a.html Saw that he lost the PayPal dispute - BUT in the screenshot it shows he used an American Express card to pay. If he avoided PayPal entirely and just called AMEX to dispute the money would have been reversed on the spot. AMEX doesn't play. They don't give a sh#t if it is a "digital" product or the holy grail - they back their cardholders 100%. So, with that being said... If you use PayPal and want to protect yourself from shady sellers - link an American Express card to your PayPal and set it as the default payment option. If you pay via your checking account or debit card you are at the mercy of PayPal - and we all know how they work when it comes to digital disputes. Get an American Express CHARGE card - that you pay off every month. You would be paying for it in full anyway if you had your checking or debit linked. No other credit card will have your back like AMEX. If something goes south call them and BOOM...done deal. You can also take advantage of the rewards points. If your credit is decent and you don't have any major derogatory accounts in the past couple of years you should at least quality for the "green" card... If you have any late payments or collections in the past 2 years I wouldn't bother applying...but if you have good credit and use PayPal a lot there is NO reason you shouldn't be packing an AMEX and be paying your PayPal transactions with it.
