URLS with Dots in the title still work! How??

I note that a 1st place listing in Google is a site without the keyword but a subdomain that does...

For example lets say the keyword is TITS

The site is called JOEBLOGS.COM but has a TITS department, and thus the ranking 1st place url is tits.joebloggs.com

Am I missing something...? or is this how it works?

I have now instructed all my URLS to either be either keyword.mydomain.com or mydomain.com/keyword

I am asssuming both of those are as good as each other...

Please don't shout at my nonsense rubbishness....I was completely not aware of that... Talk to me about marketing.. ok Talk technical.. with DOTS and I am lost.

Sub domains are best used for when you have something off topic such as a blog or forum on your site.

If Joe really has Tits allover (I mean, all over in his blog/site/subdomain) then his/her blog can still rank for his/her Tits (mentioned as meta kw or not). Google or other main SEs do not depend on your specifically mentioning a keyword in Meta or in title, it will look for and find all the keywords (Tits in this case) relevant to the content, of course IMHO.

Good Tits can be really used by the political party to run for VP or even for Presidency! Happened before and the Tits almost won... almost won the election then! I think politics and Tits are more relevant now... puts some great glamor on a very dull platform...



Proof for the OP:

While searching for "Tits" without quotes in Google (LATEST results), I found one link at # 10 (1st result page, of course) where the word "Tits" isn't in the Title or the URL and is only present in the text, but it still ranks on 1st page!

It "aroused" my interest (really! ), and I read that article, and the great word is mentioned ONLY once in the title and once in the body (if you find any Pun, it's not intentional!)... but if you check the whole article, the word is extremely relevant! ... Nice article though, ... and what language... see the great Bio in the right sidebar!... Thank her for a great read!
