    Hi,

i changed the structure of my URL slugs from this (just an example, the sites do not exist):
    www.asker1.com/car-insurance-online/

    to this:
www.asker1.com/car-insurance/online (car insurance is the parent page)

I noticed that now i dont see the URL in Google SERPS. Just like this example. Look at the second page. You just see the parent page (Companies) under the title. No URL in google serps = no bold exact match words in the serps except the title.

Do you think its a huge disadvantage? Thats the first question.

    The second question:
If i try to target a long tail keyword like "car insurance online", is there any difference in this?
    1) asker1.com/car-insurance-online/
    vs
    2) asker1.com/car-insurance/online
    vs
    3) asker1.com/car-insurance/car-insurance-online
    Or it doesnt matter?

    Thanks!

The second example in the above picture have Breadcrumbs enabled and "Companies" is the Catagory.

You might have enabled Breadcrumbs from your theme if the option exists Otherwise it should be
    Code:
    [URL="http://www.asker1.com/car-insurance/online"]www.asker1.com/car-insurance/online[/URL][COLOR=#FFFFCC] [/COLOR]
Breadcrumbs helps in SERP they say. I am using it on couple of my site..

Ah sorry, I thought about it if its perhaps because of breadcrumbs... So now I have to research everything about breadcrumbs and seo, but good to know that they should help.
