Need someone urgently who can help me convert a folder full of .myi , .myd, .frm 's etc into a MYSQL database I can import into cpanel...

If it's simple you just need to tell me how - but I need to know and will pay.

    Thank you!

Install mysql on your computer and put the files in mysql folder (/var/lib/mysql in linux). If mysql wont start fix permissions.

Then start mysql and dump the db with mysqldump or phpmysqladmin.

Import the .sql file on cpanel. Enjoy.

You should check mysql.com for additional resources. I'm not experienced with windows tools.

    h..p://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/wb-manage-server-data-dump-tab.html (replace h..p with http)

Maybe you must select the database which you want to dump and look for a "dump" tab so you can dump the data in it to file. Then upload it to your server.

Tried checking, but not sure where to import the files to and where I can export essentially. I have 43 files altogether (mostly MYI and MYD, then some FRM and 1 OPT).

    Can anyone help?

    Download Xampp:
    http://www.apachefriends.org/download.php?xampp-win32-1.7.4-VC6-installer.exe

    Then once installed go to:
    http://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin

Then enter a name for the database and click Create Database. Then click on the DB name on the left hand side of the page, then at the top click the "Import" tab. On this page click Browse, select the file you want to import and click Go.

If PHPMyAdmin wont accept the files look in C:\xampp\php\php.ini for a datadir reference for MySQL, then find the folder on your hardrive that it references and copy the files to there.
