    Hello guys,

Could someone please advice me on the following questions based on the MS Competition pic.

    OR

** The one marked with the blue arrow is my client's site...Position #4

If the above images are broken! please visit the following links

    Code:
    http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=nclafs&s=5
    Code:
    http://postimage.org/image/noory85nn/
    My Questions:

    1. How many backlinks do i need to build to reach position#1
Given the anchor text analysis of the top 3 sites is very diverse i.e. less backlinks with the main keyword(for which they are ranking) as the anchor text..

    2. If i build backlinks on a consistent basis using senuekx, amr and scrapebox. More of link pushing strategy..how many days would i take at least?

    3. How much would you charge for this?

    Thank you very much!

P.S. Do let me know if you need anything!

That screen shot is not going to be simply a "I win if I build more low quality backlinks" game. Walk away, it's not going to happen.

When my client first came to me it was on not on the first page...with some link pushes n all i got it to that position...It's been a couple of months since i did that!

Now my client came to me again asking if i can get him rank#1...Even i believe getting on the first page was easier but now to outrank those top 3 is very difficult..kind of dilemma whether to take up or not!

Just wanted to know what do you guys suggest about the price and backlinks...

They look like pretty solid authority sites... doubt it would be worth it.

Try and get a link off all top 9 sites, do a link exchange...it could only help, but I think being in say #3 is the best you can push it, unless it's worth alot of money.

I was a bit blunt and straight to the point.

When I first saw your images (without knowing exactly who you are trying to beat, so naturally I have to assume the worst and that you are playing against some heavy hitters), I thought position 4 is pretty good .. but that is far as it would go. I then thought hitting it with amr/scrapebox/senuke 'might' move you up ... but it just as likely to piss off the google bot and move you down with a 50 place penalty.

Again, without knowing the details (ie so assume it is an authority site and not an amazon etc type page) ... pos 1 has 10 times more indexed pages and 20 times the backlinks to the pages (though you did beat similar stats to get to 4) the backlinks.

At this stage (again, assuming this is an authoritive playing field you are up against), then you are now playing with men who put on a suit and tie (been there, done that ... the suit and tie bit that is). At some stage you have to put away the black hat toys and start playing their game. I would not flinch if you said they had a yearly 7 figure marketing budget (I also know of some higher end SEO companies that won't look at a client unless they have a min of 100k spend in mind).

In this game your day might involve starting out writing a press release. This is not a press release to spam out with senuke x and then hit up with some backlinks to get indexed. This news worthy press release goes out on the professional news wire for one purpose - to get your client a face to face interview with a journalist. That journalist then writes an article about your client's business (did I mention that you gave the journo a nice press pack to make that easy) and that article gets syndicated. That gets more interest and he does some radio spots as well. That gets his industry talking about him ... all while passing juicy link juice back to his site.

In short, the numbers you are looking at competing against don't come from black hat tools. They come from professional marketing. Again, this is assuming you are playing against authority players and not some amazon product sitting in p1. That is why I said walk away ... it is because it would probably require a completely different approach to what you would want to take (ie it was not a negative comment on your abilities ... it simply won't happen 9 times out of 10 with the arsenal you have listed). Again, disclaimer on the niche ... authority sites competing against ... blah blah blah ...
