This is really urgent and it's pissing me off.

My wordpress site was installed in an "addon domain" folder of my primary website.

I was toying around with the addon-domain's wordpress site and went to the options. I saw the "Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory" function so I gave a new name.
Now I couldn't login at all. Please help! How do I solve this issue?
Whenever I key in my details and press the login button, I am sent back to the login page.

    help please!

I realize it's causing a "loop" to the login page!

    http://PRIMARY-DOMAIN.com/2ndwebsiteAddOnFolder/wp-admin/

    - after entering details and pressing the login button -

    http://www.2ndwebsiteURL.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.PRIMARY-DOMAIN.com%2Feyesight%2Fwp-admin%2F

    what should I do?

    P.S: Total noob to wordpress.

I'm no wp expert but you might want to try steps 6 to 10 explained here:

    go to options page
    and modify your domain completely
u have to edit ur domain at 2 - 3 places i guess
and secondly go to your cpanel or watever
and modify the addon domain location point to the sub directory where ur blog is installed

Thanks Haspel, I read and tried that but it didn't help :(

Now the root problem is that it keeps on looping me back to the login page.

i think you should change the redirect page for your addon domain on your cpanel or delete it manually at the .htaccess

I can't get to the options page since I couldn't login as admin in wordpress.

In my addon domain, I've registered a domain and link to that addon folder.
