I am a 16 year old internet marketer. Recently, I accidentally used a proxy while doing a Paypal transaction. This caused them to want to verify my name and address, so I sent them a picture of my license.

The license included my birthdate, and they saw that i wasn't 18 (their age requirement). They proceeded to close my account. This really made me mad because I could have easily changed the birth date on that license (graphics editing) but I forgot about that stupid age requirement, so i didn't bother. I cannot take back the picture I sent them. My account is done.

Now this is REALLY making me mad, because I have a bank account and clickbank is making direct deposits of $300+ into it every month. Yet I still have no way to purchase online.

To further complicate this, some of my domains at Hostgator are expring next month. I am running out of time.

I knew if anyone could help me, it would be you guys. Thanks a ton.

If you have cash, you should be able to go to any convenience store and buy a prepaid Visa card.

Then you can use that to pay Hostgator.

waitt THEY HAVE THOSE? Yes I have cash I can get out my bank. Can I just use it as a normal credit card that "runs out" of money (like a giftcard)?

Can a 16 year old buy one?

I have a savings (not checking) account at Numerica Credit Union. Can you get a debit card for that?

Good question, I tried looking it up but couldn't find the answer, I would call them tom and see, if not use cwills suggestion and buy a prepaid, or do that in the first place as it would be faster, it takes about a week or two to receive your debit card

You'd have to talk with your bank but probably.

Also you should be able to open a new paypal account.

I was considering this and did a little research on it.

Your Bank name has to match the name on your account, and apparently paypal has records for limited and locked accounts.

I would have to remove my bank account from my PP, then open up a new one with the exact same name, address, and IP, and then verify my bank on it. I dont think I can slide that by PP.

Your topic has already been answered, however, I have advice for you as I was once in your position.

I started making money online around age 13 by selling currency on an online game that I was exploiting. After acquiring a large amount of money in my Paypal I showed my Mom. She is highly knowledgeable in the computer field so I explained to her what I did.

She saw that I was able to make money and allowed me to open a joint checking account with her. I forget what the official title is, but essentially you have your own account and a parent cosigns.

Ask your guardian to help you open a checking account. Explain to them that they won't need to give you allowance if they cosign the account for you :p

Good luck and press onwards :)

But how would a joint-checking account allow me to spend money online anymore than my savings account does?

You can get a debit card linked to the account that you can withdraw from.
