I have mixed a couple songs and changed them up and still youtube blocks most of my mixes. How do people get their mixes and unmixed songs onto youtube without copyright issues. The other day I spent 24 hours straight working on a mix and 5 hours of rendering only to have youtube automatically block my video. Is there a method to bypass it?

The songs you're remixing must be claimed under the content ID system. The others getting away with it could be using music that isn't covered by the copyright filters. Also possible that the others have a 3rd party claim on their video too, but they're just choosing to ignore it.

The only way I know how to bypass it is to change the pitch (which defeats the purpose of remixing it in the first place, right?) or find a way to get rights to use it.

It has been a long time since I've looked into this so I'm not claiming to be 100% right here.
