This is definitely some sort of scam. I also got banned on vshare and yespornplease. My videos would be removed for a generic "tags/title" reason without specifics, first time I didn't remember the title exactly right (put video instead of scene) and I thought well they must be ridiculously strict on that, second time I put professional instead of semi-pro for the video and I thought that must be why, but the third and fourth videos were titled and tagged 100% correctly and yet still after a couple days they were removed and I was banned on both vshare and yespornplease without explanation. Well I'm not banned on yespornplease, I just can't add any videos with the message, "we do not like your uploads." Vshare doesn't let me log in at all. There was definitely nothing wrong with the files, they were unedited 1080p.
I'm not sure if there are regular users uploading or if they use that as a smokescreen to say it's not their fault copyrighted material is being uploaded and they do their due diligence to remove it (while making a profit in the meantime). In my google searching no one claims to have made money with them, just complaints like the OP's and mine.
Disappointing because it looked like an easy way to gather some BTC in order to launch other projects I had in mind without having to initially invest money into it. I had about $2 worth of bitcoin on there when I went to sleep and woke up to this. You have to earn about $50 in BTC to withdraw.
I'll have to try to find another method to earn BTC without investment, so that I can then invest into other projects.
