Are there any programs out there that allow you to update content and links over multiple FTP accounts?

For example if I had 100 sites on 15 different hosting accounts and needed to updated the links and html text?

Anyone have any idea about this?

dream, for the links what I do is the following

I have all my links in a central DB and pull that info into each page then all you do is update the db and BOOM instantly updates all sites pulling those links, works a treat.

I wrote this for a client of mine who currently activly runs over 3000 sites for realty, huge link farm but meh works a treat :D

I am a webdev and if you would like this setup installing on all your sites then please feel free to contact me and we can talk about how much work and costs would be involved.

cheers

I looked around a while ago for this and couldn't find anything I liked.
Some ftp programs do have a schedule upload/download option, but nothing I've seen is very useful.

I'm sure some of the auto blog generating programs must have this capability, but finding it...

So, eventaully I rolled my own ftp program to upload/update hosting accounts, also to break footprints on the fly. I currently use it on over 800 accounts, but it's tied in to my homebrew cms, and is idiosincratic. It works, and does what I want it to do, but has little error handling and the UI is very primative.

If there's enough interest and some potential to make a few $ I might be prepared to delvelop a version for relase, but I know from experience that making something like this generally useful rather than specifically useful will take much more time that I've spent getting it to do what I want it to do.

I'd be interested in opinions, what feature would be useful...
