Hello guys, I have a new youtube channel and my first video, after like 3 weeks I uploaded it, got a ton of views (20k+) from Ukraine, Russia and a lot of strange countries.. a lot of these views with 0 minutes watched.

I don't want these fake views because they could damage my reputation... How did that happen?

I tried to search everywhere for a solution and couldn't find it, how can I prevent this and how can I get rid of these fake views?

    Please help, I'm desperate.

Its possible that you are being spammed by the competition in order to get your videos removed. Flagging was the old way, but with YouTube cracking down on botted views I foresee botted views being the new way to take down your competition. Scummy tactics, but they are effective unfortunately.

Could turn off embedding, that would stop some fake views.

Can't get rid of them though.

The source of this traffic is classified as "Unknown - direct" in Youtube analytics (some real views come from that too), is that considered embedding? The problem is that I embed my videos as well, I wouldn't want to turn it off.

Change video privacy mode to Private instead of Public and wait till the storm blows over.
