So, I'm a small time dropshipper seller on ebay. I do about 100 sales per month (3 to 4 sales per day).
For the past year, I'd never get much more than 100 views per month on my items. Some items might
get about 200+ views in a month but most of my stuff gets about 10-30 views per month.

But in the past week, I'm suddenly getting 100-200 views per item within a few days! At first I thought it was an error on ebay's systems. Maybe they were just doing some maintenance and the numbers got all fudged up. But now it's been a week and every time I post a new listing, I'm getting around 100-200 views within 2-3 days! Where the heck are all these views coming from suddenly? Did some anonymous happy buyer do me a favor by posting all my items or my ebay page on their website or fb group or something like that? It's as if though someone has increased my traffic flow for me (which is nice), but I also want to be careful in case it's something else.

Anybody have a clue how I suddenly went from 1-3 views per day to 100? Nothing has changed on my account. My status has been the same, too.

Just to add an update. The views have gone back down to slightly above normal now. I'm not getting the 200-300 views in a couple days like I reported a few days ago. Now it's about 30-40 in a just a few days. I really still wonder what that was all about? Was someone or something sharing my ebay store or link? It's very interesting. I could see how advertising or sharing links to one's ebay store on other sites or social media might help boost traffic and possibly sales, but honestly, I don't know anything about that or how to do it.

I guess that someone with big accounts shared your items somewhere and gave you more traffic, just like you said... because I don't have any idea of your situation if it's something else.
