I guess that means more work for 5$? Even though it might stop negative feedback you'll have to work at least twice as hard for the same amount of money..

Asshats like this cause no end of problems for my fiverr workers. The real troublemakers see any attempt to communicate them as a sign to start being nasty. Keep in mind that a lot of these troublemakers are SEO wannabies with an IQ below room temperature and are buying gigs for clients sites. Do not waste valuable time arguing with them as they usually have a problem understanding words with more than two syllables. The next step is to follow what damageX said. This does not always work though, some of them just want to destroy your gigs with bad feedback. If they leave bad feedback respond with bad feedback of your own and put their site URL in the feedback and tell them the feedback is going to get indexed in google. If its a clients site they will end up pleading with you to remove it before their client sees it. If the site is for their client contact them anyway and offer them your SEO services.

Honestly, what else can you do but fight fire with fire? Although I don't sell on Fiverr, I know a lot of sellers and some of the arse wipes they have to deal with are ridickulost! A friend provided a HOTTT WP premium theme with some of the top plugins - all for friggin five bucks.

His clients would have easily paid around $350.00 to $400.00 for that same package on the open market. He actually had a doosh bag give him negative feedback because he refused to customize the theme.

As far as putting the client's URL in the post, you have to be careful not to alienate any potential clients with such a move. Its a juggling act for sure.

There are tons of them. Just realize it's their job to ask. It's YOUR job to tell them no if that's what the answer to the request is. Politely refund them if necessary and move on. (...with great emphasis on MOVE ON)

I guess I look at it differently because I'm a buyer. If you advertise a service, with points A, B, & C highlighted as selling points, and you don't deliver, that's a problem. I know some buyers can be real assholes, but a lot of them don't go in there like "hey, i'm only spending 5 dollars, so i guess i get what i pay for"...buyers like me want what's in the description, nothing more, and damn sure nothing less...that's it. It's the seller who decided to move into the market selling services for $4.

That's just how I look at it, but a custom theme is a bit much anyway lol...I won't twist your arm if you don't deliver though, it's just 5 dollars. I'll just leave what REALLY happened in your feedback, and never buy from you again.

Anytime you sell yourself cheap whether it is on fiver or anyplace else you are going to have this problem. There is nothing wrong with giving a good service for a reasonable price but when you go after bottom feeders you get this kind of behavior.

I have found that the cheapest clients are almost always the ones looking for that extra something without wanting to pay more money. Good communication always helps but bottom feeders are bottom feeders no matter what.

Yes and before you do that...you'll probably ask '' What is a .rar file '' ... some people ( like you for example ) live with the impression that the world can be bought for 5$ ... I think that's really good :) Definitely .
And of course there are many ''things'' out there on fiverr that ask for modifications after 2 months after the completion of the order...and let's not forget the fuckin' retards that leave a negative feedback after 6 months... Yea... I think that being stupid is a really great thing.

Its seems to me that those who say tell tehm to F Off and those who say give them more are missing the point, give them what they want Just be very clear on exactly what they are getting.

1st Contact should clarify exactly what they are getting and then they will either piss off or accept the gig and leave the nice feedback.

Not at all my friend. Look at it this way...Say you stop into mcdonalds(haven't been there in forever) for a big mac...and they give you a burger...but it's just the cheeseburger...you don't ask for your big mac? or you just keep it moving with your day? i ask for my big mac man...same concept, only you are doing business..

sidenote: i can't believe you could conjure up a joke with so much FAIL...rar file? really? lol
