Hello and thanks in advance for any input.

I set up a WP blog yesterday with an AdSense ready theme. The first thing I did was to go into the theme pages and edit my AdSense code into the proper places. Once I saw that the adverts were showing up I went ahead and added my content to the post on the page. However all of the AdSense adverts are referring to Wordpress themes and blogging still instead of my niche.

I created another page with content and published it and all the adverts on that page are picking up the niche just fine and are showing ads related to the niche. Although the index page is still showing unrelated ads.

Did this happen because I added the AdSense code before I had good content on the page for the AdSense code to detect? If so is there anything I can do to get the ads to pick up the content and display relevent ads instead of the unrelated ads that its currently showing?

    Thanks again

need to wait for google to crawl the pages first before you get related ads. it shouldn't take long.
