Anyone have any idea why this is happening? I have a new blog (about 5 days old) and am getting totally unrelated adsense ads showing. It is a music blog and I keep getting ads about Pavement, and snow removal equipment. I checked the source code and there is nothing even remotely related to this.

The weird thing is that it only happens on the first page.

If it's a new website then this is pretty usual, It's only for first webpage (because they dont know yet whats that web is about- sounds impossible but it really is so) , and on all another pages there shows the right ads because probably of permalinks! (post name urls).

This is the only reason why something like this should happen, but in time it will be ok

Try changing the page title, and/or description, and/or keywords.

I've seen that sometimes also. Usually when I buy a domain name off ebay and use it for something else adsense will show for what was on there before, until G spiders again. I've also seen it do weird things on shared hosting and subdomains until a spider comes by.
