    I bought proxys from unr3al .

When I went to use them ,most had like blocks.

I understand they are not "ig proxies' .

Although he/she is selling "residential proxies" so I would think, I would get resi proxys . according to a google search , it says it comes from quickpacket ,witch is a vps server company. This is not what I paid for. When I brought it up in the thread, They ignored the second part of my response . All they said "we do not sell ig proxys" then sent me links showing that they said that before.

For 8$ I would think that the proxy would work for Instagram without follow and like blocks. I am 100% sure its the proxy. the same bot with my home ip, has no issues. I just followed 150 people in a hour(really pushes the limits )

Which is a start, however the main issue here is you are not actually supplying what you are claiming you're selling.

In this case what you sold as residential clearly were not.

The IP in my home is also a commercial one as we have a commercial account with the bandits who go by the name Comcast/Infinity.

Are you sure that is residential?

I just have technical comment since I'm web automation coder and have experience in this field -if mods allowed it if not please delete it - ...

    1. on unr3al site saying : "A residential proxy is a proxy that appears as being allocated by an Internet Service Provider (ISP)" , and this is true but after saying : "Our residential proxies are still tied to a datacenter but they are announced as being residential" this is like saying it's white but appears like black ! .

    2. from link shared by unr3al https://www.ip2location.com/146.252.238.3 :

Usage Type (DCH) Data Center/Web Hosting/Transit

Proxy Type (DCH) Hosting Provider, Data Center or CDN Range

above parameters shows clearly it's Not residential , based on my experience all major platforms detect it also as data center proxy and not residential IP .

I'm not saying anything with/against OP or unr3al , just give technical comment .

    Hi,

We also sell Verizon IPs, here is an example : 67.90.43.246, they are available for NY only.

We have some other locations registered under small & unknown companies. We clearly say what we sell, we didn't hide it.

    Thank you!

I added the result from a different IP, in to the link you clicked. Here is the correct result : https://www.ip2location.com/demo/146.252.238.3

As you can see the IP show's as (DSL) Broadband/Cable/Fiber

    Thank you!

That's the "Net Speed" field. The "Usage Type" field is "Commercial".

This is the value table for "Usage Type":

    upload_2018-7-30_22-44-56.png

ISP and MOB are the ones you should be selling as "residential".

In any case, ip2location.com isn't an authoritative source. The authoritative source is the BGP routing table which tells you who actually owns the IP. If the IP owner isn't an ISP (landline/mobile), it isn't a residential IP.

You can browse the BGP table on the web here: https://bgp.he.net

+1, the litmus test should be that the IP blocks are in regular usage/shared by regular home customers NOT self reported usage purposes.

I have some credit left with Maxmind and put the IPs @ilovetobun69 listed above into their database to check them (bear in mind that there is no exact science to finding what is residential or not, although I've found Maxmind to be one of the best sources to check).

The user type should show as cellular or residential. Scalabledns is also heavily flagged.

    Hello everyone,

First of all, I would like to say I'm sorry to ilovetobun69 as we should have paid more attention to his complaint, as well to the mods for this situation.

To make sure no other customers will be confused, we changed the service name to Premium Proxies.

We already updated our website pricing page to reflect the changes : https://anonymous-proxies.net/pricing

The Dashboard was also modified to make sure this services won't be confused with the residential proxies services.

    Thank you!

    First of all;
Glad to see the refund issued, however I'm not happy about the service just being renamed to Premium Proxies, as this still doesn't make clear what is being offered / bought.

My suggestion here is this service needs to be re-reviewed due to potential big changes in what is now being offered and not just the prices.

Maybe @BassTrackerBoats and @jazzc could also share their suggestions here on this, as I'm not convinced a change of name and pricing is enough.

On the site it now says "Premium proxies appear to be residential but are still backed by a server". The problem is that they only "appear" to be so for people who don't know much about proxies. Anyone technically competent can tell the difference and I don't think there's anybody going to argue that IG and the rest employ ignoramus gnomes in their engineering departments.

To put is simple: it's like filling a toothpaste container with shit and saying "Premium toothpaste appears to be whitening your teeth but is still backed by a brown base ".
It might "appear" to be a tooth-paste to anyone who can't see or smell but using it will only yield shitty results.

In other words, it's clear that you don't have real residential proxies and it's a problem if our members are misled to think that you do.
