Everytime I upload music to youtube it gets taken down by copyrights from Universal Music Group. So how are all the other people uploading music videos?

Please help me with this. I would really appreciate it.

There are many videos experiencing the same thing. UMG is actively pursuing everything copyrighted by them.
 
Use different music that is not from them. I believe once you are caught once they begin to watch those accounts.
 
WMG muted one of my videos immediately due to the copyright of there music. Good luck with that. WMG had a falling out with youtube and ever since they haven't worked out any music contracts so your videos will be silenced if they contain music by them. It sucks but oh well
 
Ringtones are one of the easiest offers to promote if I can't do that then what's good to promote? Any other CPA offers people know of?
 
how do they actually detect that the music is theirs? I wonder if you opened up the song in a music editor (like pro tools or garageband or audacity) and changed it around a bit, if they could still detect it as theirs? Maybe if you changed the frequencies slightly they wouldn't be able to detect? Anyone know how they go about detection? As you might have guessed, my guess is that they go by the uniqueness of the frequencies for each song, so maybe if you tweaked that a bit.. You might not even have to tweak it to the point where humans can tell a difference.. Who knows. Experiment.
 
I'm actually starting to think that if you have ANY link in your description, then they'll delete the video if it gets popular. Other than that, it is impossible to detect 100k+ videos being uploaded daily.
 
Has anyone tried overlaying the soundtrack with some other noise, like people talking in the background, etc...? I've done a few tests and had videos stick that I thought for sure would be muted, but nothing on a large scale.

Obviously, this isn't true, since there are VERY prominent, popular accounts that routinely put URLs in their descriptions.

However, I've found if my URL starts showing up across several accounts in a short span of time, my accounts will get disabled, regardless of what the content in the video is....To get around this, you have to let the accounts sit for an hour or 2 and then go back and edit them...

that would be altering the frequencies, but only adding. Removing might work better?
