Step 1: Open a paid phone number account or a mobile/rington aff account

Step 2: Set your payment high as you can per call

Step 3: Go to Ebay or other classified sites and search for ''prepaid SIM card''

Step 4: Buy prepaid Cards that cost a third or cheaper of the total amount, sample: 30$ worth of prepaid should cost $10 or less.

Step 5: Call your own service number or your own ringtone page.

Step 6: Repeat step 3, 4 and 5 over and over

Step 7: Wait for your payment and invest a percentage of that back

This can work great if you can find a steady supplier.

Have you actually tried this method yourself? The problem is that your commission is much lower than the cost of the ringtone. For example if the company makes $5/ringtone you might only get $1 in commission. This means that if you spend $50 of your calling credit on ringtones you will only get $10 back. The same thing with premium numbers. Don't know about US but here in UK they cost good money. To me its too time consuming with little profit margins, if any.

password protect some torrents, and tell people to call your ringtone aff # for the password. ROI = infinity given that you have no advertising expense.

I do a lot of ringtone marketing, and this would not work in my opinion. It would be a short term black hat method that could make some quick cash, but isn't long term. My ringtone affiliate makes sure that these people don't cancel their subscription. Most ringtone affiliates charge like $10 per month for the end user to download ringtones every month. At the end of the month, when all of your ringtones subscriptions can't be billed again, a huge red flag will go up, and well... let's just hope you already got paid.

How do you actually set up one of those scam area codes and get paid? Won't you be castrated if you were caught?

seems ok... but the roi isn't worth anywhere near the effort unless its heavily automated... Friendblasterpro on myspace works ok for promoting aff ringtone numbers in comments.
