Drip Feeding articles to ones own sites (now that article directories like ezine have been devalued).

My experience this is not a 'quick hit' in so much as the content will not influence ranking for maybe some 3 or 4 weeks after it has been indexed. Maybe this is the length of time G needs for its algorithm to read digest and understand what is in the content, figure out it is indeed unique and offers the end reader some value and then how it relates to the KW's that site is ranking for?

Sure the big G indexes it quite fast but this is my experience and peeps should not expect instant results from dropping articles onto their sites.

Relevant content and on-site SEO makes all the difference. I add two articles a month to my main site and it retains a number two ranking behind Wikipedia. This with a total of six backlinks - albeit quality links.

The other lesser sites with tons of backlinks and article blasts were destroyed by Penguin.

Quality links, good content + a little on-page SEO seems to be the answer

So you don't submit articles to ezinearticles.com? Last I heard, they still had a PR6...

Yup, agreed. I also find that G cares more about how consistently the articles are added versus how many are added. It's better to add two articles a week, spaced out evenly, versus submitting ten articles every Monday and just letting it chill for a week until next Monday.

The time frame really depends on Google. but if you write and post quality posts in your website you will definitely get good result. Sooner or later.
So I always make high Quality contents and also the same for the link building. but don't check regularly that they are indexed or not.
That's the best thing i think.
    Right?
