    Exact same problem here!
I have been pulling my hair out over this for 2 days now.

I spent about 45 minutes with Hostgator trying to fix it but no luck.
If I understand the the Hgator Techie correctly, it may be that the UAW server is using an erroneous file name (add_articles.php instead of add_article.php ???) ...but then again, I am no coder, and not sure I heard correctly. Ultimately-nothing Hostgator did helped the situation.

Of course if folks with other hosts are having the same problem that kind of rules out hosting as the problem. I really feel the UAW server is not working correctly. Anyone solving this problem please pass the word. Thanks.

    Weird experience:

I still get the error message when I try to "update and test" my UAW install.

HOWEVER, In the meanwhile I have just received a nice article FROM UAW to review and post. Go figure??? (btw, I have mine set to receive articles in "Draft". I'll let it autopublish when I am cofident it's working.)

I sure hope someone can figure this out. Why did I get an article to post when I haven't been able to "update and post" for 2 days.

I posted a ticket at the UAW helpdesk with a link to this thread. Maybe...just maybe...they might get on it!

Doesn't work for me either and they don't send the articles to my blogspot blogs either. And I have the articles sent to another email then forwarded to my blogspot address so I doubt it is any kind of filter by google.

Contacted BlueHost tech department: it seems to be a Plugin Issue

Here the answer that i got and that i posted to UAW helpdesk:
"Dear customer, thank you for contacting us.

This is the condition which is triggering that message:

    if ($_POST['postart'] == '1' or ((isset ($_GET['delete']) || isset ($_GET['accept'])) && isset ($_GET['c']))) {

You are getting this issue because it is not being sent the correct post information. We are not limiting posts to this file at all. I sent post data to this script via curl and got this:
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    jmiller@employee-terminal:~$ curl -d"postart=1" http://(mysite).com/wp-content/plugins/unique_articles/add_article.php
permission denied - your token does not match our records
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So it made it past that first error and made it to another error because I was not logged in. You will need to contact support for this plugin for further information on setting this up."

HOPE TO MAKE THEM THINGS WORKING!!!

Interesting. Of course I doubt if you'll get much UAW plugin support over the weekend. No response yet to the UAW ticket I posted yesterday...

I have been wondering how UAW gets the posts into the blogs without a password (at least I never gave them a password.) Maybe I missed something about registering, but I doubt it.

Is the plugin set up to harvest a publisher password from the blog itself, so that it is qualified to post? Methinks so, possibly. How else could it be?

Time to start digging in the code. Anyone got a friend who knows php?

    Strange Things...

I have UAW set to deliver 2 articles per day. That seems to be working, both yesterday and today.

But if I use the "update and test" command I still get the same old "add_article.php does not exist" message.

That's all I know. No response from UAW re: my ticket. If any of you have news or further insight on this issue please post.
    Thanks
    Catcher:)

Yeah, as far as the way it works I've been looking that up a bit. Here is one explanation I have found:

You're asked to write an 8-paragraph article, then you're encouraged to rewrite each paragraph two more times. Yes, that's each paragraph. In other words, you have the following versions: Paragraph 1a, 1b, 1c, Paragraph 2a, 2b, 2c... and so on.

The UAW system then takes each version and mixes and matches them with the rest of the remaining paragraphs. My math is a little rusty, but if you take an 8-paragraph article and make use of the different tri-version paragraphs, you should be able to create 3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3 or 6,561 articles.

The other explanations just seem to re-iterate these points in different words. May be a little off. But I like the theory of it accessing the blog, seems entirely possible that a plugin could do that. The password is encrypted in md5 sum but it's not hard to inject a password into the account if you have access to the db. But having a script do that would be a different story. Certainly beyond the scope of my abilities. But I still think the software is probably legit and not accessing your blog, but their does appear to be a shroud of secrecy involving the plugin and the way it works. But then again you can hardly blame them on such a tool.

Still no clue here, and no word from UAW Helpdesk.

I'm looking into other methods at this point. Perhaps in time UAW will get it right. Who knows? It may be a very simple fix, or maybe not. But with no communication things look grim. :(

Yeah, received as well a mail saying that.

In my case, i didn't really downloaded any new version but just pushed the button "Update and test" and this time it worked.

Now see if articles come to the blog (they say it takes a day to start).

See you next days to know if everything is working.

well this plugin is a total fail and I think they just want to hype with a free version and then want us to subscribe their paid version.

I have updated and setuped this plugin 24 hours back and yet I didn't get any article posted on my blog. I have setup everything perfectly. I think we should ignore it.

Dheer, consider the possibility that the niche of your blog could be too specific and, as i read around, if a niche is too specific UAW won't send too many articles.

I read also in this forum good reviews about the UAW free service.

Otherwise it could be a good idea to open a ticket to understand what's could be the issue.

    Hope it may help.

Here's what I did to fix the issue. Didnt get much help from blue host either here's what they said to me.

"The problem is the permission files are set incorrectly at 664. To fix the problem you must set them to 664"

    HUH?????? what???

Anyway this is what i did. Go into your web hosting and find your unique_articles plugin files. Look for the file that you are getting the error message for.

In my case i was getting a 404 message from the add_article file. To find which file is causing you trouble Just look at the end of the error message link and it will tell you which file it is.

Now just delete that file in your hosting account. Don't touch any other files!! Now just upload a fresh copy of that one file. Worked for me and no more error messages.

Try it and let us know how it goes.
