not going to watch this, but I'll still give my (unwanted) opinion: to google spam means anything they don't like, just like it happens with all governments and mega rich corporations.
In their beginnings (early 2000s), when google were supposedly filled with spam I used to find a lot of cool and interesting stuff in google. Nowadays, it's only certain types of content and sites (only those that abide by their rules) that google favors...
So yeah, I wouldn't look into Matt Cutts' mouth... or Mu's mouth, or the mouth of any other google representative. All of their spokespeople will say whatever the company wants them to say, and the company only wants to collect and sell our data and to keep us brainwashed and compliant. That's the gist of it
