I'm looking at some expiring domains and I'm using the majestic plugin and I'm on one of the expiring sites (lets say xxxxxx.com) and so I lookup the specs and it says the following.

    URL Subdomain Root Domain
    Citation Flow 14 28 17
    Trust Flow n/a 24 17
Now I'm assuming that is bad since the trust flow is N/A for the URL. But then again I don't understand because the root domain looks decent with 17/17, but I'm already doing a lookup of the root domain I thought?

So then I decide to lookup WWW.xxxxxx.com and it looks totally different :S

    URL Subdomain Root Domain
    Citation Flow 28 28 17
    Trust Flow 23 24 17
Can anybody make sense of this for me and also let me know if there are any red flags for this domain? (under $20 so not expecting a lot though).

You're checking a subdomain, vs the root domain.

The "www" is a subdomain of the root domain.

But it doesn't make sense because if I do a lookup on the root domain or subdomain, then it shows different information everytime. Like when I do a lookup of the root domain it shows N/A in the TF row of URL.

    Home Page:
I see that depending the url used for backlinks (with or without www.) has an influence on majestic metric.
Anyway, don't rely on any metrics. Go and see the link profile.
Even majesticseo can be gamed easily. For example on a web2.0 I built a few days ago I already have CF/TF +20 only by building some spammy pr comments.
