We recently updated the Hire a Freelancer and Want to Buy sections to improve quality and reduce spam and scams.
Because of these changes, you now need to have at least 15 forum posts before you can create a new thread in either section.
- No posting external links or contact information (Telegram, email, WhatsApp, etc.).
- Thread starters must be specific about what they want, and responders must be specific about what they’re offering.
- Threads that are 30 days or older will be automatically locked.
- New rule: You must have 15+ posts to start a thread in HAF/WTB.
- New section-specific warning: repeated rule violations can now trigger a WTB/HAF warning that escalates if ignored.
These updates were made after extensive feedback and monitoring.
The goal is to ensure these sections stay safe, clear, and helpful for members genuinely looking to hire or be hired.
Once you reach 15 posts, you'll regain access to post there.
In the meantime, feel free to engage in the forum, participate in discussions, read the stickied rules, and get familiar with the community.

As for direct messaging: If you have a post count of less than 15 on the forum, you will not be able to start a direct message with other members.
You should, however, be able to receive direct messages (sometimes referred to as PMs/DMs/Conversations) and respond to them.
