Does anyone know why or has had this issue before? I'm trying to add website url for my ecommerce site on facebook business page and instragram account.

This is what Facebook says: The website URL you provided is invalid. Please enter a correct URL and try again.
    This is what Intragram says:
It looks like your profile contains a link that is not allowed. We restrict certain content and actions to protect our community.

I'm only trying to sell watches! Its a new site currently under construction. But i've never had this before.

Try the Facebook Linter and enter your URL and scrape it and see what message FB gives you. It might say it's blocked.

I've submitted to Facebook to let them know but as you know Facebook being Facebook will probably will never get back to me. Not much online related to this issue...

Open Graph Object Debugger: This link is blocked, or you have triggered an excessive amount of scrapes. If you think you're seeing this by mistake, please let us know.
    Why would it be blocked?

Do you have affiliate links on the site you are linking to? Fb check where the link goes and what is on the site and if they don't like it they block it.

This happened to me before. Try sending Facebook a support message that you are now the new owner of the domain and state the nature of your new website. They will unban it.

Nowadays facebook is too much strict
you cannot promote direct affiliate link or cpa link
you have to create your blog and host the landing page
