Idk what SEO stands for, i was simply searching for how to force comcast to change my static ip, but nonetheless stumbled into here. Being a curious cat, i have been poking around here and there, looks intriguing even though i havent the slightest clue what most of the topics are except maybe increasing traffic to sites which i suppose would get higher ranking on search engines or something. So if I make stupid comments or seem to be a noob, just know, noobs at least know what their getting into. I am still figuring this out. Anyway I repair electronics for a living (UHD displays, PC's and anything else I deem worthy) and buy and resell items I score at up to 97% off retail. Just geek s*it, ya dig?

    Respect

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization - what a webmaster attempts to do (both on his site and links to his site) to increase is rankings in Search Engines like Google or Bing.

    Welcome aboard!
About changing youre ip, normally theres 3 things you can do depending on the current setup you have.. :

Option a) Shut off youre router/cablemodem or whatever, after that Change youre computer´s MAC address. wait like 10 minutes , Turn on youre router again.

Option b) Change youre routers mac address after entering the setup page through its ip and reboot it trough that page too.

Option c) Just power off youre router/cablemodem whatever you have and turn it on again like 10 minutes after. The 10 minutes its just to be sure you waited enough, if it worked retest several times to find a lower time that works.
