I live in the UK, and since I've been making less than 5000ukp taxable income per year, tax has not been an issue for me.
This year, however, I'm on target to make more than that, and would like to know what fellow UK internet marketers are doing. I make my money online playing poker - which is tax free - so I've never had to worry about paying tax. Money I've been making from my IM ventures has been growing steadily, and now it looks like I'm going to need to pay tax this year.
The form of my payments are usually US cheques deposited in my UK bank, as well as the occasional paypal payments, withdrawn to my UK bank. I'm keeping a careful note on what I'm making (taxable) this year, and will need to look at submitting a self assesment come April next year.
What are the rest of you UK guys doing about this?
