    Hey all,

I was wondering how many of you UK marketers would be interested in a small gathering place to discuss solely uk/euro marketing?

I just want a basic raise of hands really as myself would like a dedicated place to discuss general online and offline UK marketing as over the years, although profitable being this side of pond has its disadvantages i.e not knowing indepth about local events, sports teams, newspapers etc etc the list goes on (i know this can be researched online) but being a local and given the size of the uk we have a great advantage in lot's of areas here, i'm sure you will agree.

I'm hoping to support all UK and close Euro cousins with a small but private network (cpa) also, so it's not going to be some fly by thing.

Let me know what you think.;)

I'd be up for this for sure. Almost all my custom comes from the UK.

For example the UK has a few of the biggest papers in the world and I myself always like to venture offline with marketing, the economy and dating market is just as lucrative as the US but sometimes overlooked (im not saying by all) just some ideas on scales :)

I mean we all but you understand by be saying it's alot easier to discuss UK markets with a brother from another mother? Dont get me wrong ALL marketing is based around the same thing but the people are different, we speak different, we eat and drink different things etc so it's just being more on wave length.

JV'ing is made much more trusting being in such a small place also, only a stones throw away from one another. Meetups, phonecalls and alot more. It's only a small idea but glad there's some interest.

Hahaha, well i am a brit born and bred (wales to be precise) however iv'e heard the term plenty over here so either your living by 60's slang or just living in a cave ;) I will say though, that alot of terms in the marketing scene have derived from the US but cannot be helped can it now :)

i want to kick off talks and brainstorming sessions based on mobile marketing aswell as many other things.. i believe mobile marketing if done right is HUGE and we have quite an advantage here in the uk if marketing to the uk. The sms laws are not as strict different to the US.
